Alongside the new brand identity, Ania et Lucie designed a robust packaging system that uses only two boxes to accommodate 70 different product shapes and sizes, with product specific labels and inserts.
Kindred Black's challenge was to ensure their dynamic variety of handblown glass bottles—which vary from tiny jars to larger vessels—could be packaged securely with as few different box shapes as possible. In collaboration with Imprimerie du Marais, a system of adjustable and reversible inserts were created to hold all of the products in only two box shapes.
To accompany the brand relaunch, Kindred Black introduced a refill program. The simple, logo-printed aluminum bottles also offer a travel-friendly option to the delicate glass vessels.
The final touch of the packaging is a wrapping paper with a photographed arrangement of shells and a hand-drawn logo.
